Indian Navy Short Service Commission (SSC) : Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualifications: Candidates should have completed or be in the final year of their degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Specific requirements vary by branch: - Executive Branch: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
- Education Branch: MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication.
- Technical Branch: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Marine, Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture, etc., with 60% marks.

Indian Navy Short Service Commission (SSC) : Selection Process- Shortlisting of Applications: Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a five-day interview at designated SSB centers.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical fitness test.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on SSB marks and medical clearance.
- Training: Selected candidates will undergo training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, commencing in January 2026.
